The many faces of Libby

Here's what Libby did when Avery stole her cup.

She's just kept making these angry faces

A video of Avery at dinner

While eating dinner last night Avery kept putting a cup in her mouth, she stole the cup from Liberty. and letting go. It took us a while to finally get it on video, but when we did she put her arms up to her chest like she was doing the chicken dance

It's time to eat!!!

This is how Avery eats...

As you can see she has no use for the plate or the cup. It just goes in her mouth whole...

And when she's done eating, or whenever she spits the the food out of her mouth the cup goes in, "no hands"

We think she's kind of wild but she sure is cute.

Silly girls

Liberty had decided that Avery is fun to play with in the mornings. When they should still be asleep. They have a great time together in the crib, until Libby is ready to get out. She can get in but not out.

The order of these pictures got mixed up,(anyone know how to fix that). Avery keeps getting playing with the DVD/VCR player, so Jake put up a sign to deter her, but as you can see from the above picture she can't read. She is a persistant little thing.

Earings

Grandma Bell sent Liberty some earings to play with, but Avery was awake first when the package arrived so she got to try them out first. Which was good because ever since then Libby won't let her touch them.

A lot of stuff

So I haven't blogged in a long time so this is catch-up from a few weeks. This first few pictures are so projects I have been working on, and finally finished. I made the frames for my girls only because I had some coupons and it only cost me $4 to make both of them. The apron I have been slowly working on, and Jake has been bugging me to finish it so here it is completed. The other one is a ball for the girls. My good friend showed me where to get the pattern. Thanks to her, it is a great toy.

Jake thought this was so cute,(I don't think those were his exact words) and made me take a picture of it.

This is just a nice picture of Liberty, doesn't happen very often.

Liberty thought it would be fun to put stickers on Avery's face. She doesn't mind until it is time to take them off.

My parents came to visit us a little bit back. This is a picture of them and the girls at the Jelly Belly Factory. I thought it was interesting that they made Avery wear a hat too during the tour.It was so nice to have my parents come visit for a while. While I'm remembering Happy Birthday Mom! Yes that's right my Mom was an April Fools baby.

Play time

Libby is in her bride dress up out fit. Jake was helping her put on the veil and found this sticker on the inside of it. So he decide the best place for it would be on her nose. By the way if you can't read the sticker it says, "Keep away from open flame." I guess he thought we need a reminder to keep our daughter away from open flames.

Liberty had me get out her tent, and then she asked me if Avery could come play in the tent with her. So I put Avery in there with her and they had a great time together. I love that they are starting to play together more.

Avery

This is Avery's smiley face. I know kind of scary. We are going to have to teach her that little girls are suppose to have pretty smiles not mean looking ones.
This video is of Jake playing with Avery. I am not sure why he is picking her nose at first, but watch this girls cheeks jiggle.

My cute girls just before church. Libby is crawling because Avery is.

Thanks to my mom for giving Libby this lovely chapstick that is colored. Libby has to apply 50 layers before she is done. We got most of it wiped off before church.

Libby fell on the hard floor at the store Saturday night. We didn't take her to get stitches because I decided that I would rather her have a bigger scar then to go through the trauma of holding down my 2 1/2 year old while a doctor stitches her chin up. It is healing really well though, it already scabbed up.

Libby broke her leg

Jake got to practice casting this week in school. He brought his home so Libby could play with it. He even duct taped it together for her. Kind of weird I know but that's Jake. The worse part is that Libby loves it. She puts her leg in it and tries to walk around.

On Sunday we were ready early so I thought we could try some family pictures since we were all dressed up. The family picture didn't turn out too great but here is one of the girls that I thought was cute. I know Libby isn't sitting very lady like, but that was the only way we could get her to hold Avery on her lap.

Avery crawling

So Avery is just a little over 8 months old and she just barely learned to crawl. I took this video to show you all just how slow of a poke she is.

A lot of stuff

First of all these are some matching outfits that my mom sent us. We thought it would be fun to have the girls stand next to each other. Avery did a pretty good job. (At least at using her bum and the wall to hold herself up)

This is just for fun. Jake got creative with Avery and this is what happened.

Lastly, Jake had a day off so we decided to go the Jelly Belly Factory. It was kind of fun. Libby really liked their sample counter.

The Girls

I bought this bath foam soap for Libby to play with in the tub. So I put some in her hands and went to go get diapers for the kids when I came back I found this. I had already told Libby not to put the foam on Avery, but she just had to try it. Avery didn't mind too much, except when we had to wash it off.

Liberty got up from her nap and decided to have a piece of chocolate. She couldn't really get it out of the wrapper, so she just sucked it out and this is what she looked like afterwards. It's so nice to have clean children.

I am throwing this in because I love thumb-suckers. I think they are so cute. So this morning I hear Libby singing and it sounds kind of funny so I go into her room and this is what I found. She liked to hear herself inside the bucket. I thought it was cute.

I meant to post this awhile ago, but for those of you that read my blog and don't know, my little sister passed away 11 days ago. So I have been home for awhile. This is a video of my my girls playing together. Just thought I would put it up here for grandma and papa to enjoy. (and anyone else who reads my blog).
