Halloween 2012

I know it is December, but I am trying to catch up a little bit. The girls craving pumpkins.

Libby isn't happy Bristol is helping clean out her pumpkin.

Avery's pumpkin is all clean. Don't know what happened to her hair.

Libby doesn't mind getting her hands dirty one bit.

Their scary faces with their finished pumpkins.

Daddy caring all three girls upstairs on his back after we set the pumpkins outside.

Virginia Beach

In October Jake had an easier rotation and so we decided to take a family vacation. One of the doctors Jake works with has a beach house in the Virginia Beach area and graciously let us use it.

Bristol loved the beach. She fell in the ocean when we first got there and was afraid of it ever since. Which was fine with me.

The girls enjoying cinnamon rolls and watching the waves.

Now remember we went in October, so the water was not that warm but the girls dove right in anyways.

Jake's sister and her family joined us. All the girls had the best time together.

Playing in the sand after they got too cold in the water.

All the girls playing together.

On the board walk. Bristol wasn't cooperating.

Avery, Liberty, Norah, Vivian, and Bristol.

Jake brought his wetsuit and borrowed a surf board from one of his co-residents and went surfing almost everyday we were there. He didn't have any really great waves but he had fun anyways.
The last day we were there the weather was perfect and we all got in the water. We had a great trip and it was so wonderful to see Jessi and David and their girls. Hope we get to this again next year.

First Grade

Libby's first day of First Grade. She was so excited! She gets to ride the bus both ways now. (yea for me too)

Getting on the bus in the morning.

School pictures day!

visit to Idaho

We are in Idaho visiting my family. I wanted to put up some of the pictures my mom has been taking because I forgot my camera. The girls have loved riding on the 4-wheeler with papa.

The girls have loved all of Grandma's dress up clothes.

Striking a pose.

Of course they have been eating lots of ice cream here. Bristol wore more of hers than she actually ate.

They like getting to play with the dog.

Bristol even got in on the dress up.

These girls love their papa. We are have a great visit here with everyone. We miss our daddy thought!

quick catch up

I know it had been a long time since my last post. So here a few highlight pictures of our happenings. First was Jake's 31st birthday. Yes we ate Jake's cake for breakfast. (hence everyone is still in their PJs)

Next is Avery's 4th birthday. Grandma Bell got to come out to celebrate with us.

This is Avery's cake. She wanted a chocolate cake with blue frosting, and fish and Ariel on top.

Then we had Libby's dance recital. She did wonderful. Daddy video taped it and didn't do a very good job so I'm not putting it up.

Lastly we have Liberty's birthday.

Her favorite present is the bean bag chair that her daddy picked out for her. We have been having a wonderful summer break but I am beyond ready for school to start. I now know why my mother used to say that when I was little too.

Late Easter Pics

The family on Easter morning.

Cuties with matching dresses.

2 weasles

Avery looks a little goofy.

I just had to throw this in. Bristol has become such a twinkie. She decided to climb through the chair instead of walking around.

Visit with Grandma and Papa Bell

My parents came to visit for their spring break. The kids were in heaven. They were so spoiled by the time they left, I could barely stand them. Bristol wants to be held all the time and the big girls miss having their live in playmates.
Here is a pile of wild girls on top of grandma.
Grandma and Papa got to go see Libby at her gymnastic class, so I finally remembered to bring my camera, but I only got a few good shots.
Also while my parents were here, our local grocery store had an event called breakfast with the Easter Bunny. The kids had a blast. Bristol, surprisingly, loved the Easter Bunny.

We were so happy to have Grandma and Papa come visit. We didn't get to go and do a lot, due to car trouble, but the girls loved the time they got to spend just playing with their grandparents. Thanks for coming!

late St. Patrick's Day

We didn't do anything too exciting for St. Patrick's Day. Libby had a birthday party to go to, so Jake and I took the little girls to the park to play.

Avery also had a St. Patrick's Day parade at her school. Nothing big, but it was cute to to see her little class walk through the halls of the high school throwing out candy. Avery didn't want to throw her candy, she wanted to eat it.

Happy St. Patrick's day!(late)
