Pumpkin

I was taking pictures of Avery playing with the pumpkin, and Libby couldn't stand to not be a part of the photo shoot. So here she is being her normal cute self.
Avery playing on the pumpkin.
Avery trying to pick up the pumpkin, which probably weighs more than she does, but don't tell her.

Avery trying to stand on top of the pumpkin, just like she tries to do to everything.

Avery is nuts

Lately, Avery has needed to climb on top of everything. She also likes to jump off things too, luckily not the kitchen table though.

I was on talking to my brother on the phone and turned around to this (above pic). I wish I would have got a video, because she was bopping along to the music on the TV, and just a few seconds later she was sticking her finger in her belly button. Now I know for sure this one is Jake's.

Fall is here

OK so fall has been here for awhile, but I am slow at putting up pictures. I love the tree in front of our apartment in the fall. It turns this gorgeous red color as you can see from the picture. Just thought I would share it.
The bottom picture is of Libby after she got done eating a lik-m-aid. (you know the candy you used to eat as a kid, with the sugar stick that you dipped in the colored sugar powder, man someone was really thinking with that much sugar).

More from Grandparent's visit

I took my parents and the kids to Kroll's Farm. Libby loved the baby goats, and surprisingly Avery was scared of them. Avery is scared of nothing, so it really surprised me when she ran from the baby goats, who weren't even half her size.
Avery was less than thrilled to stink her head in there.
The kids loved the pumpkins. Thanks Grandma and Papa for getting some little ones for the kids to carry around the house. I keep trying to decorate with them, and Libby keeps taking them down and playing with them. Oh well, I guess they were really for her anyway.

Everybody on the pumpkin train.

A visit from Grandma and Papa

Thanks to the library passes, I was able to take my parents to the botanic gardens. It is quite beautiful, I definitely recommend it as a place to see.

Here are the grandparents and the kids coming off spider island. (no real spiders on the island, thank heavens).

Avery playing with the pumpkins, that were bigger than her.
Papa and Libby playing in the fountains. Libby really wanted to going swimming in all the fountains. She kept asking me if she could put her "suit" on. (swimming suit that is)

Avery was quite a pill to get to look at the camera.

Libby's getting married

We were talking about squares today, and had cut some cut of play dough. Libby was done with the squares and just wanted to play, when I came over to see what she had made, she told it was a temple. So when she first says it's a square, it actually started out as a square, but ended up being a temple. Libby used to say she was going to marry Avery, so I'm glad she at least has the right gender. The rest we'll have to work on.

Random

Cute girls hugging in hats.

Avery has started making this face a lot lately. I usually think she has something in her mouth, but now looking at it, it almost looks like she is doing a kissy face.

I think it is so cute when little kids dance. I think the girls got their dance moves from their dad.

Rain coats

My mom sent the girls rain coats, among other things, so we had to try them out. Avery's is just a touch too big. She liked it anyway.

I thought it was cute that Libby wanted to wear her high heels instead of her rain boots with the coat.

This is just a fun video of the girls pretending to be penguins in their rain coats.

Here is a picture of Avery standing on the table. Now one of her favorite places to be now.

I came out from taking a shower to find Libby like this. She had turned over the ottoman, and was sitting inside the round part with her parrot watching a movie.

Here she is talking to her parrot.

Video

Avery started this, and Libby just followed. She does this all the time now that she knows she can do it.

More of Idaho

We took a trip to the City of Rocks. The girls loved climbing up and down all the rocks. Scared me to death, but we all survived. Above is Avery and Papa Bell.

Uncle Deric and Libby. They even match.

Libby trying to hold up a rock.

Hiking up the rocks.

It happened to be fair and rodeo time while we were in town, so we had to go to the parade. It was pretty good. Libby got too much candy. The girls both got balloons. Avery liked her balloon more. Crazy smile.

Here's Libby waving to Smokey Bear. She called all her bears smokey for a while after that. We had a fun time visiting family thanks for everything.

Visit to Idaho

Papa was finishing up the last of his grain when we got there, so we figured the girls might like to ride in the combine with him. Avery thought it was awesome, Libby thought it was cool for awhile.

Here's Libby and Papa Bell after finishing a row.

Libby, Papa Bell, and Mom riding in the combine.

Avery chilling on the grain truck, waiting for her turn to ride in the combine.

Libby shoved all the stuffed animals she could find into the collapsible ball and then climbed in there with them.

Sea World

So we decided to spend a day at Sea World. I had never been and we thought the girls would like it too. Here we are petting a Sting Ray. Again Avery loved it and Libby kind of freaked, but it was fun.

I thought this was a neat picture, one because mine girls are being cute, but two, there are two sets of sisters in this picture. Aunt Judy, Grandma Jones, and Libby and Avery.
Here are the girls checking out the Beluga whales.
And of course the Shamu show. I didn't care too much for the day show, but the night show was amazing. Didn't get pictures of it, because all the kids crashed by then.
Everyone at the shark exhibit, except Aunt Judy, she took the picture.

At the Beach in San Diego

All of us at the beach. Aunt Jessi, Baby Norah, Grandma and Papa Jones, and Uncle Joey, and us.

Our little family playing at the beach.

Jake did a lot of this while we were there. The waves weren't that great while we were there, but he had fun anyway.

Jake helping Libby surf. She hated every minute of it. ( A woman after my own heart).

Avery surfing. She on the other hand loved it. She loved the water. We had to keep a close eye on her, because she kept running straight into the water, and the waves would wash over her.

Boards

I just thought I would post this because we are so excited. Jake got the little envelope today. For those of you who don't know what that means, it means Jake passed his first board exam. Yeah, one less worry for a while.
