visit with grandma/libby's b-day/ny trip

Grandma Bell (my mom) came to visit and of course she brought the girls matching dresses. Too cute!
For Libby's birthday she wanted to go to the pitt zoo. The doctor Jake was working with for the month found out Libby was going to the zoo for her birthday and let him off early to meet us and spend the day with her. It was nice to have him there.
Grandma and the girls with the bats.
The girls petting a lizard.
Girls on a log ride.
Grandma and the girls with the deer. This is Libby's favorite part of the zoo. (petting the deer)
Lib opening her birthday presents.

Libby says to tell all the family thank you for all the wonderful presents.
The girls in front of Libby's barbie cake. That is the cake she wanted and my horrible attempt at cake making. She loved it anyways though.
My mom has a sister up in NY and everyone but Jake went up for a visit. They live close to Niagara Falls, so we had to visit. Here is Bristol checking out the falls.
The girls with my wonderful aunt and uncle.
The American Falls, from the Maid of the Mist.
The girls and me in front of the falls.
The girls a little wet from getting so close to the falls. Canadian Falls behind them.

Grandma and the girls getting wet.
In the ponchos, waiting to board the Maid of the Mist.
That is a lot of water, you know that's what they are thinking.
My aunt also lives close to Palmyra, so we took a trip there too. Here we are walking over to the sacred grove. It started to rain on us a little so we broke out the umbrellas for a minute.
The girls checking out the cooper shop near the Smith home.
Us outside the framed home.

Grandma, David, Ann, Holly, Bristol, Jonathan, Audrey, Libby, Ian, Avery, Lisa, Chloe, and Joshua, all in front of the Smith log cabin.

Checking out the garden outside the framed home.
Bristol enjoyed the tour.
We had to make a quick stop at the Grandin building. It was really a neat place to stop and see.

We had to stop at Hill Cumorah. Here are the girls in front of the Angel Moroni monument. It was such a wonderful trip that we are definitely going to make again.
