Sorry it has been so long since I posted anything. Jake was in Seattle (Federal Way actually) last month, so I decided to go visit my parents for a while. I forgot to take my camera with me, we were really bad at taking pictures, but here are a few from the trip.
Libby became quite the farmer while we were there. She rode with my dad while he was busy trying to get his first crop of hay up. She also went with him every night to move the wheel lines and even a hand line too. She misses getting to ride the 4-wheeler every morning with Papa.
Playing on the top of the bunk bed. Avery learned how to climb on the top bunk while we were there. A very bad thing to learn, because every night she would climb up in bed with Libby and get into lots of trouble. They even broke into Grandma's Christmas decorations and broke a lamp, all while they were suppose to be sleeping.
My parents have two dogs, one is a lot older and Avery just loved the older one a little too much, because she bit right on her cheek. We took her to the emergency room and they glued it shut. By the time we got back home it was severely infected, and I had to take her to the ER again for some antibiotics.
We also had an early birthday party for Libby while we were there. Libby kept complaining because we were having birthday parties for lots of other people but not her, so grandma took pity on her and threw her an early birthday party.
My kids loved being able to walk outside anytime they wanted to, although Avery started venturing down the road so we had to be more careful with her. We had a good trip, but we really missed Jake. Glad to have him back at home with us for a few months, before he leaves for the big three month stretch.

Poor Avery. That looks so painful. Glad you got to spend some time with your parents and that Jake is home now!!
